Our Story

Churches Together SA networks with other organisations, furthering spiritual wellbeing for all, being mindful and inclusive through intergenerational, intercultural and interfaith engagement, It is an active member of the Interfaith community in SA. Churches Together SA is committed to seeking justice, striving for reconciliation, and promoting environmental sustainability through our collaboration as churches together.

Churches Together SA hosts and organises regular committees and gatherings, intentional conversations, events, educational sessions, workshops and lectures, and worship and prayer services. Churches Together SA assists the church communities in their deeper ecumenical engagement, faith, spiritual and pastoral growth through Receptive Ecumenism.

Churches Together SA supports the wider Christian community through providing communication and organisational support across the denominations within our State. It links with like bodies, interstate and overseas. It acts as the Secretariat for Leaders of Christian Churches in SA. It is a connecting point for government and church information sharing.
