Churches Together SA for Justice & Peace Team

Encouraging and enabling CTSA, in the light of the Gospel, to give prophetic voice and leadership to each other and the community by:

  • Implementing the strategic plan and direction to promote & deliver opportunities for ecumenical engagement with justice and peace matters across churches and communities
  • working to uphold the dignity of all people;
  • respecting and caring for the flourishing of all creation – All peoples and all environements
  • speaking out against injustice, violence and oppression;
  • promoting reconciliation and healing between indigenous and non-indigenous people, and acting in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

 

Churches Together in Ecumenical Learning Team

Encouraging, promoting & enabling ecumenical learning across CTSA churches:

  • Implementing the strategic plan and direction to promote & deliver opportunities for ecumenical learning across churches and communities
  • listening and collaborating together in ecumenical learning to explore faith and unity
  • Enriching our understanding of each other through learning across a range of areas including:
  • spirituality;
  • liturgy;
  • theology;
  • history;
  • sociology;
  • and culture
  • develop ecumenical learning opportunities that facilitate faith consciousness, ways of being, and leadership, individually and institutionally, across the Member Churches

 

Churches Together in Local Ecumenism Team

Encouraging & enabling ecumenical engagement in local CTSA churches by:

  • Implementing the strategic plan and direction to promote & deliver opportunities for ecumenical relationships and activities across churches and communities
  • promoting, encouraging and celebrating the essential place of local community in faith development
  • raising awareness of Jesus’ gift of unity through listening to, and learning from, each other
  • developing and collaborating together in ecumenical activities
  • expressing Jesus’ call to live out that unity through visible expressions of
  • prayer
  • worship
  • dialogue
  • shared engagement in mission
