Rev. Professor Vicky Balabanski is Professor and New Testament scholar at the University of Divinity, and the Principal of Uniting College for Leadership and Theology in Adelaide. Alongside her work in the field of New Testament interpretation, which includes the Earth Bible Commentary on Colossians, she has also published in the field of Receptive Ecumenism. She presented the Bible Studies at the fourth international Receptive Ecumenism conference held in Canberra in 2017, and together with Geraldine Hawkes, she edited a volume called Receptive Ecumenism. Living, Learning and Loving in the Way of Christ (2018).
Vicky is an ordained minister in the Uniting Church in Australia. Together with her husband Peter, an Anglican priest, she values her family connections with the Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Anglican churches.
